On the other hand, if there is a fire in the building which damages the property to such an extent that business becomes impossible to continue in the same location, a secondary location must be activated where we can continue to provide services to our clients and maintain our operations at more or less the same levels. Similarly, a virus which brings down our network or corrupts the database stored on one location might require the activation of a secondary location where the most recent backup of the database could be used for continuity of business (Britt, 2005). The effectiveness of the poem Essay In this essay I will try to explain how John Keats writes the ode To Autumn. This means I will analyse the poem, and to the extent of my knowledge pick out the poetic techniques Keats uses. These will include, personification, the use of imagery, diction, rhythm, appeals to senses, similes, metaphors etc. To begin with he personifies the whole poem as if he where talking to the actually inanimate Autumn. Through the whole poem it is as if he was talking to Autumn, or maybe even Autumn is being meant as Mother Nature. An example of this is line 2, Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun. This I believe means that Autumn is in cooperation with the life giving sun to ripen the crops. Also he compares Autumn and Spring through personification by saying, Where are the songs of Spring, and, thou hast thy music too. Both these seasons have been personified which shows that maybe Autumn is not Mother Nature, but that each season is a different person with a different personality. As an example this could mean that Summer may be uncomfortable climatically, whereas Autumn may have a great climate. The impression that Keats gives to me of Autumn is that he, she or it is careless and lazy, on a half-reapd furrow sound asleep, intoxicated, Drowsd with the fume of poppies, and finally, tranquil: Steady thy laden head across a brook; Or by a cider-press, with patient look, Thou watchest the last oozings, hours by hours Next I will explain how Keats uses diction in the poem. Keats has decided to use iambic pentameter, but at the same time use trochee or inverted iambs such as in line 1 when he writes, Seasons of mists and mellow fruitfulness, stressing the Sea when the pattern would usually have the stress after the non stress, and then repeat the pattern. Also he sometimes uses enjambment in the poem to speed up the pace that the reader reads it at. An example of this is, To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells With a sweet kernel; to set budding more, The enjambment is actually just one of the ways in which he makes the poem read in a specific way. He also changes words to make it sound different, he may use an accent over some of the vowels to make the word pronounced with 2 syllables such as, barri d, and, twini d. He may also use an apostrophe to fill the place of vowels to slim down the amount of syllables such as, oerbrimmd. He might even use a dash in between words such as, bosom-friend, to speed up the pace of the rhythm as all these techniques try to do. He also uses alliteration such as, winnowing wind, which ;ets the poem flow much better and a fixed rhyme scheme of A,B,C,D,E,D,C,C,E. All these techniques, as well as most of them speeding up the pace of the rhythm or trying to make the lines fit the iambic pentameter, make the rhythm read more flowingly and softly which is very important in an ode to create a more effective poem for the reader. The poem has also got many places where the senses of sight, smell, sound, taste and touch are used. Keats uses, mellow fruitfulness, fill all fruit with ripeness to the core, and, plump the hazel shells, for taste. He uses, clammy cells, and, touch the stubble-plains, for touch. Sight is used a lot in the poem but some of them are, seen thee amid thy store, and, full-grown lambs. Smell isnt really used much apart from in line 17, fume of poppies. Now finally, most of the 3rd stanza is sound as Keats has used, songs of Spring, lambs bleat, Hedge-crickets sing, redbreast whistles, and, swallows twitter. All of these senses help you picture the poem as a 3D image in your mind. The favourite of mine being, Drowsd with the fume of poppies, as it uses powerful words like, Drowsd, and, fume, with poppies which I know the distinct smell of, so I can picture myself lying in a pile of poppies, being intoxicated by them whilst smelling the fresh air and looking at the ripe fruits, vast fields and colourful trees.

Moderate warming and appropriate carbon dioxide in the atmosphere may help plants to grow faster. But more severe climate change such as global warming, floods, drought, and hail may reduce yields. According the survey, from 1981 to 1990, the average global temperature has increased 0.48  °C than 100 years ago. If greenhouse gas emissions continue the warming will also continue, with temperatures projected to increase by 1.4  °C to 5.8  °C between 1990 and 2100. (Richardson et al. 2011) Increases in temperature and carbon dioxide (CO2) can be beneficial for some crops in some places. But to realize these benefits, nutrient levels, soil moisture, water availability, and other conditions must also be met. Higher CO2 levels can increase yields. The yields for some crops, like wheat and soybeans, could increase by 30% or more under a doubling of CO2 concentrations. The yields for other crops, such as corn, exhibit a mu ch smaller response (less than 10% increase). However, some factors may counteract these potential increases in yield. For example, if temperature exceeds a crops optimal level or if sufficient water and nutrients are not available, yield increases may be reduced or reversed. Crops grown in the United States are critical for the food supply here and around the world. U.S. exports supply more than 30% of all wheat, corn, and rice on the global market. Changes in temperature, amount of carbon dioxide (CO2), and the frequency and intensity of extreme weather could have significant impacts on crop yields. Warmer temperatures may make many crops grow more quickly, but warmer temperatures could also reduce yields. Crops tend to grow faster in warmer conditions. However, for some crops (such as grains), faster growth reduces the amount of time that seeds have to grow and mature. This can reduce yields (i.e., the amount of crop produced from a given amount of land). (EPA 2012) All the problem need to have fast and effective ways to be solve well. Balboa, a Spanish conqueror and explorer. Vasco Nuà ±ez de Balboa, a Spanish conqueror and explorer, was the first to see the coast of the Pacific Ocean. He saw the ocean in September of 1513, from the top of a mountain of what is now Panama. On September 29, 1523, Balboa claimed it and all its shores for Spain. His findings opened Spanish explorations and conquests along the western coast of South America began. The Spanish called the ocean the South Sea because it lay south of the isthmus of Panama. In 1520 a Portuguese explorer named Ferdinand Magellan sailed through it and named it the Pacific, meaning peaceful, which until this day the name remains the same. Balboa ´s early life was a normal one. He was born in Jerez de los Caballeros, Spain. His father, whom we know little about, did not have influence or wealth. When he was young, Vasco served in the household of a rich nobleman in Moguer, one of Spain’s main ports. After Christopher Columbus ´ voyage in 1492, more sailors were taken to the New World, and many sailor stories could be heard throughout Spain about the new lands across the ocean. The opportunities attracted Balboa, who in 1501 joined a Spanish voyage to South America. They explored the north coast of what is now Colombia. There were not enough people to attempt a settlement. In 1502 they sailed to the Hispanola, the main Spanish base in America. Vasco had a very rough time making a living on the island. For a time he even raised pigs there. Balboa ´s rise to fame was one that happened little by little. In 1509, the first expedition to colonize the mainland of South America left Hispanola. Balboa wanted to join this expedition, but he had fallen heavily into debt, and he was prevented from leaving Hispanola. On the mainland, the Spaniards established the settlement of San Sebastian along the eastern coast of Uraba. In 1510, Vasco stowed away on a ship that carried some supplies and new settlers to the colony. When they reached the mainland, they met some of the San Sebastian settlers who had abandoned the settlement because they lacked food and the Indians were very dangerous there. The two groups united and went back to San Sebastian. Balboa, who had more experience on the continent than the rest, suggested moving to the western side of the gulf.

Identify circumstances when children or young people may need urgent medical attention If they already have a medical condition eg. Epilepsy, and they have seizures that they haven’t had before or haven’t had one in a long time or they last longer than what there normal is. Head injuries due to accidents or seizures Suspected broken bones. 4.3. Outline own role and responsibilities in the event of a child or young person requiring urgent medical attention If I was on shift and a young person needed urgent medical attention I would firstly alert whoever is shift leading that day but stay with the young person seeing to there medical needs I would then phone an ambulance and await instruction from my shift leader who would be either seeing to the young person or on the phone to the ambulance and I would be doing the other. If I was shift leading I would have to tale control of the situation and direct my staff team to what they need to do, there is usually 4 staff members on as the shift leader I would be on the phone to an ambulance I would direct another first aid trained staff member to stay with the young person and get the other 2 to take the other young people away from the situation. 6.1. Outline procedures for infection control in own work setting Make sure while doing personal care gloves and aprons are worn, also that anything with the young people’s bodily fluids are disposed of correctly in the correct bin. Any bodily fluids are clean up correctly e.g. Vomit. After a young person has finished there stay at the dragons retreat the bedroom must be deep cleaned before any one else can stay. 7.2. Explain how the procedures of the work setting protect both children and young people and practitioners They protect both young people and practitioners by ensuring that people working with the young people are all following the correct procedures which are in place to ensure the safety and well being of the young people.

Here are the most common of those words and their definitions. Nomen itself is the word for the family name of a Roman citizen, the second of the three names usually given. A praenomen (meaning â€Å"before name†) is a first name, and a cognomen (â€Å"with name†) is the third name. (The word can also generically mean â€Å"name† and can refer to an epithet or nickname.) An agnomen (â€Å"to name†) is an additional name or an epithet attached to a person’s name because of some achievement or honor. The adjective nominal (â€Å"of a name†) means â€Å"in name only† or â€Å"approximate† or â€Å"very small in amount,† though it has a more specific sense in financial contexts related to loans and interest. The verb nominate means â€Å"designate† or â€Å"name,† while a denomination is a name for a class of things, though the word generally refers to the value of a particular amount of currency (for example, a quarter and a twenty-dollar bill are denominations) or to a religious group (for example, Baptists and Methodists are members of specific Christian denominations). Binomial (â€Å"two names†) is an adjective referring to a two-word name for a species (as homo sapiens); these two words are often paired as â€Å"binomial nomenclature† to refer to the system used to create such names. (Binomial also has the meaning in mathematics of â€Å"an expression of two numbers connected by a plus or minus sign.) There is also a set of terms such as â€Å"nomen dubium† (â€Å"dubious name†) referring to the status of specific scientific nomenclature, and variations on binomial include trinomial, polynomial, and multinomial. Another word for classification that might mistakenly be assumed to derive from nomen is taxonomy (â€Å"arrangement method†; the second part of the word is the same suffix seen in economy and other words for systems), which originally applied to categorization of living things by their relationships but was later extended to general organization (as in the model of learning strategies known as Bloom’s taxonomy) and to the arrangement of data on a website.
